Mentoring Teens with Steve Anderson
My guest today is Steve Anderson, he was the director of the Minnesota Boys to Men Mentoring for 10 years, he's a husband and step-father to two teenage sons and in this episode he's sharing with us what he's learned on how to connect with your teenage sons, how to navigate successfully the challenges of being a step father and also the amazing rewards that come with being a positive role model and mentor in a young boys life.
We talk about what it is that teenage boys are really looking for from their male role models, how to create safety within the relationship, and what the #1 skill to learn is to deal with teens.
